Assassin chooses his skills
I spent a day checking all the skills that came to my mind.
It’ll take a long time to understand skills and other things about that world of swords and magic.
The information given to me by the goddess are only common sense. I’ll have to study everything about that world. After all, almost everything about that world is different from where I came from.
Anyways, after I finished checking the skills, I realized that there’re so many.

In that world of swords and magic, one is born with skills.
However, there’re some skills that are not useful, such as [Animal-like Squealing], [Dishwashing], [Instantaneous Change of Clothes], and [Crossdressing].
Skills are of five ranks, S, A, B, C, and D, and the probabilities to get them are as follows:
S: Probability of 1/100,000,000
A: Probability of 1/1,000,000
B: Probability of 1/10,000
C: Probablity of 1/100
D: Probability of 1/1
In theory, you can get skills of all ranks.
However, even the probability of getting a single S-rank is one in a hundred million, and when it comes to getting one skill of all ranks…
The probability becomes 1 in a hundred quintillion.
The right to choose the skills given by the goddess is very much appreciated. Even most people in that world only have one D-rank.
The basis for choosing skills is to choose the best S-rank skill, and have the other skills support the S-rank for it to shine.
“There is only one in a hundred million with an S-rank skill, however, one with it becomes very strong .”
If there’re skills in my previous world, only one person in Japan would have an S-rank skill.
People with even only one S-rank skill have the power to become as strong as a country.

-You can summon and use the demon sword. Its power corresponds to the ability of the user.
At first glance, it looks simple. but the sword summoned by this skill has a ridiculous performance. With it, it’s easy to cut through a mountain with just a single swing.

-By having the sacred spirit that shines golden, your attack power, defense power, and speed are greatly increased.
The increase is massive. With this skill, a young child would be able to destroy a tank with bare hands. It’s very versatile and I might choose this.

-Dominate the opponent by touching and marking the target’s forehead.
With this, I can make as many slaves as I like. However, when engraving the stamp, there is a resistance depending on the magical power of the target, so the caster must have a stronger magical power than the target.
[Monster Generation]
-Create and use monsters based on all kinds of materials.
With it, I’ll be able to combine corpses and magic stones to create an army if I wished.
These are just examples.
There are dozens of S-rank skills.
When choosing a skill, I have to focus on securing firepower. After all, a hero can’t be hurt by normal means, even if he/she is out of battle or is defenseless.
At a minimum, I need firepower that’s able to kill a hero that’s defenseless.
The second thing I need from a skill is it’s versatility and applicability. In the process of killing the hero, unexpected situations might occur, so I’ll need a skill that’s flexible.
The S-rank skill I chose based on those criterias is…

S-rank: [Super Recovery]
-Physical strength, magical power, self-healing power, and all kinds of resilience increases. Initial Multiplier is 100 times. Recovery rate increases along with the skill level.
Compared to the other S-ranks, it doesn’t seem like a big deal at first glance. However, when things go wrong, I’ll need to run, and this skill helps me recover the stamina I lost, making me able to escape successfully. With this skill, I can rapidly replenish ‘bullets’ of this world called magical power.
It also makes me less prone to injuries and illnesses.
In addition, with this skill, my sleep time becomes very short, and the faster I recover my stamina, the more I can train.
Considering the rules of this world, resilience is the best weapon.
I wouldn’t have chosen this skill if I hadn’t gotten information from the goddess about that world.
“I’ll have my A-rank skill none other than this.”
A-rank: [Magic Formula Creation]
-Create magic formulas.
In the world that I’m about the reincarnate in, magic is given by God, and only about a hundred number of magic created by God can be used.
However, with this skill, I can create new magic.
This skill creates endless possibilities.
With my knowledge of science and modern day technology, I can do many things.

B-rank: [Limit Break]
-Break free from the limits of growth.
It’s powerful, but since the skill alone has no meaning, it stays at B-rank. Normally, there is no point in breaking free from the limit. After all, in that world, even if people there trained for their whole life, they’ll never reach the limit.
However, if they have [Super Recovery], and can practice with inexhaustible stamina, then this skill will shine.
For my C-rank skill, I chose [Physical Arts] because it has an emphasis on versatility.
With it, I’ll get talent and corrections in everything physical, like knives and swords.
It’s effect is inferior to skills like [Swordsmanship] and [Spearmanship].
However, its versatility is greatly superior.
An assassin should be able to use all kinds of weapons, he/she shouldn’t abandon everything else and depend on a single type of weapon, even if his/her ability in it is to be significantly better.
“Isn’t God blind to see this as a D-rank?”
I chose an interesting D-rank skill.
It’s not strong at all, but it can be transformed depending on how it’s used.
At first glance, you’ll see it as a trivial ability, but I’m sure it’ll be a trump card of mine.

There is another thing to decide on besides skills.
It’s my magical attribute.
In this world, in addition to basic four attributes of earth, fire, wind and water, there’re 2 special attributes, namely light and dark. People are rarely born with 2 attributes.
Magic is something given by God.
If you repeatedly used a particular attribute, you’ll get a revelation about a new magic in that attribute that’s usable.
I chose all attributes.
Even if I say all attributes, I was only able to choose from the four basic attributes.
In addition, there’s a disadvantage.
By having many attributes, my growth speed will be halved.
“Even if I have my growth speed halved, I’ll be able to overcome it with practicing two times harder. My resilience is multiplied by a hundred times, so I won’t have any trouble doing that.”
I prefer being able to use all attributes with my growth speed halved instead of being able to only use a single attribute. I’ll just make up for the disadvantage by putting in more effort.
In a day, I’ll have decided on my skill and magical attributes, but I’m not yet going to call the goddess.
I’ll think this through.
There might be a better combination.
I might reconsider.

I thought about it for a whole day, but in the end, I settled on the five skills I chose yesterday.
I’ll have my basic abilities increased by [Super Recovery] and [Limit Break], and I’ll have my movements sharpened by [Physical Arts].
I’ll have the ability to use all attributes of magic, and I’ll be able to create magic with the skill [Magic Formula Creation]. I’ll then have my D-rank skill as a trump card.
With my skills and experience as an assassin, I am assured that there’s no better combination than this.
The goddess then appeared.
“It looks like you’ve found a combination that satisfies you.”

The hero is very strong because of his/her ridiculously high physical abilities and magical abilities.
In addition, he/she is born with 30 skills from S-rank and A-rank, and at least five of them are S-rank.
I am aware of the strength of S-rank skills.
Certainly, there is no way to win against him in “Battle”.
However, assassination would be possible with proper discipline and preparation.
I chose my skills with the idea that I should be able to kill the hero who has thirty skills that produce maximum synergy.
